After a brief hiatus, Titus, Pandora and I have returned.
We've fallen in love with and have moved to beautiful Gordonsville, VA
and look forward to seeing you again soon!
Welcome to Cavallo!
My name is Beate (Bay-ah-tah) .
I am originally from Hamburg, Germany, as I'm sure you will be able to tell from my accent.
As an extremely creative creature, my mind moves in many directions at every moment:
I am a Fine Arts and Printmaking graduate of the Corcoran Gallery of Art & College of Art and Design and
-a small independent business owner
-a painter/printmaker by trade
-a gluten-free chef
-a clean food fanatic
-a green and clean cosmetics advocate
-a member of the OCCC Board of Directors
-an advocate and social media manager for Gordonsville
and I also just became a wellness advocate for doTERRA.
I adore Italian design and Russian icons and fairy tales as well as any type of folklore and South American story-telling ... and anything that glitters or is hand crafted or gilded! I have lived in Virginia for almost three decades now. I absolutely love Virginia and it's abundance of beauty, wide verdant landscapes, artistic spirit and creative energy!
I think that growing up in Europe exposed me to a beautiful aesthetic that has stayed with me throughout my life.
I opened my first new venue "La Linea Bella!" in May of 2011, expanded a few years later, added a light filled gallery, and I loved every moment of it.
I chose a very creative part of Charlottesville for the location of La Linea Bella: McIntire Plaza is filled with artisans, jewelers, woodworkers, sculptors, painters, seamstresses, massage therapists, florists, bakers, you name it, it was there!
In the summer of 2017 I drove to Gordonsville on a whim and INSTANTLY fell in love with it! I knew this is where my talents would be able to flourish further. Gordonsville is also filled with immensely creative spirits and is an amazing growing community of kind progressively thinking spirits.
To create gorgeous pieces to dress up your walls and enhance your home really is such a rewarding experience for me, I feel very lucky! Working with designers and frame enthusiasts alike on finding great new solutions for projects can be both challenging and fun: Even if it's "just" a diploma or a simple memory, it still deserves just as much attention and dedication so that it will last you for a long, long time to come!
I look forward to meeting you, thanks for checking out our site and see you soon!
