Megan Davies is an artist based in central Virginia whose inspiration comes from the simple, joyful moments of life.  By taking what would otherwise be lost, the artist preserves memories in her work.

While the source of these joys may vary – from botanicals to landscapes, from busy bus stops to bugs – Davies ties together her subject matter through the consistent use of unique contour lines and a calm, earthy palette.

Because each moment captured is a memory worth holding on to, each piece tells a narrative, allowing the work to open viewers up for sharing, connecting, and story-telling as they reflect on their own experiences.

Megan was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia and graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in painting and drawing.  She recently moved to Gordonsville, Virginia to merge homes with her fiancé and their 3 combined children.  She creates from an at-home studio and is represented by several galleries in Virginia as well as collected by private clients in the United States and Europe.
