Our Gallery Policy
Welcome to Cavallo and a big thanks for your interest in displaying your work with us!
We strive to share beauty and inspiration with our clients and travelers from across Virginia and the U.S.
Gordonsville attracts travelers and area friends alike, and my clientele have been with me for over 30 years.
Our gallery reflects my love for creativity and design and showcases the gallery's focus on elevated quality custom framing.
We showcase artists either for 2 months in a special feature, or strive to build a relationship over a year, featuring your art and connecting you with our clients and customers. Please read our policy and feel free to ask questions if you have any!
Warmly, Beate
GALLERY POLICY
At this time, we accept only unframed art.
Art should be professionally wrapped on a stretcher (canvas) or shrink wrapped (paper), or ready to mat, frame or display.
In an effort to represent the quality of the work we create in our workshop, and to be consistent with our in-house custom choices,
the gallery pays for framing chosen art to display, there is no cost to the artist, and all framing can be removed at the point of retrieval. Our customers have the choice of buying the art framed, unframed, or by special order from the artist through the gallery.
Gallery/Artist split is 33% / 66%, to be paid at the end of the month of the sale of the art.
With that, we provide an artist reception for featured artists or a group reception for gallery affiliates, printed promotions, a place on our website, sales representation and referrals. - We are happy to connect you: Commissions/Finders Fees 5%
All art shown at the gallery should be listed at the same price as it is listed on the artist's website while it is shown at the gallery.
We strive to work with you to create a curation of your art that encourages the success of both of our businesses and is the right fit for our venue. We absolutely love to promote the arts and build a relationship with our artisan friends - and we look forward to building a relationship with you!
Thank you so much - if you have any further questions, please email me here!
