2/12/2024 Welcome!First of all: hi!
I have had so many questions as to why a venue like mine would feature green favorites and healing apothecary. I was told it is "not compatible" and does not make sense, along with some raised eyebrows. But as a designer and custom framer, my job is both rooted in hands-on tasks as well as in aesthetic decisions throughout the day. I am an artist by trade, and my senses have always been very acute. I have a strong interest in ... well, many things! Beauty, color, music, food, and all of these things are so important to all of us. And ... I think a lot. I am not an esthetician, I am not a doctor. But 14 years ago, I found myself at a fork in the road. I was asked to change what I ate, consumed, drank, and how I treated myself. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos autoimmune condition, which essentially makes you hyper sensitive to many things. SO many. And there is so much to learn! I feel so lucky that I hit that fork at a time when the world was beginning to open up to alternative ways of dealing with our health. Women especially have been involved in finding their purpose in creating healing products and foods. In 14 years, I have always featured some sort of clean apothecary and skin care at my venues. Essential oils, healing herbal tinctures, fantastic-smelling organic potions, infused chocolates, and beautiful teas ... I have really enjoyed exploring a life less toxic and more rooted in nature and beauty. I have loved meeting everyone who has shared their own unique story in the shop. Thank you for giving me the time to share mine and some of my favorite new finds. I hope you enjoy the journey, just as much as I have!
